Leadville

The Leadville Trail 100 mile race was a huge success for me.  Finally feel like a ‘legit’ runner after this race.  Stay tuned for the details…

1061 hours, 6100 miles of running over 2.5 years in the making.

My aid station placings: 239, 198, 147, 97, 90, 76, 67, 63. Hit the line in 55th out of 504 starters, ~270 finishers.

  1. Sweeet Buckle!!! Not just the looks either. Way to earn it.

  2. Sweeeeeet, buckle, Chris. I never pictured you as a “big buckle” type of guy,
but wear this one with pride…You earned it. Strut your stuff!
    Congratulations!!! What an amazing accomplishment….

  3. Congrats, man!
    And I love those splits!
If it had only been one more lap, you would have easily won the thing 😉

  4. What a wonderful accomplishment. One you have worked hard for. You have trained a long time for this. We are happy that your foot didn’t cause you to drop out and that you were able to endure for such a length of time and distance. We are proud of you and brag to all about how well you do. (But then we brag about you even when you don’t race)
    Love you Mom & Dad

  5. Chris, that is freakin’ awesome. I’m really happy for you.

  6. Great run, Chris! I look forward to reading about it. You’re killing it this year. Thanks for the motivation.

  7. Now that’s a buckle! Once again, nice run man, you persevered all summer with little issues, then busted it out. Now 100 miles is easy right? Way to go! Have a brew on me!
