Fall Break

With the kids out of school, it was time to take a few days off and go exploring.  We covered some good ground and went to places we’ve never seen before.  The Great Sand Dunes and Black Canyon of the Gunnison (both National Parks, who knew?) were our targets.  We caught a nice break with the weather, and although we were cold at times, the skies were clear.  We had tons of fun sledding down the sand, hiking, stargazing, cooking out, and living life on the road.

Oh my goodness! Sledding down the sand…how crazy…it’s just amazing. Your family must have had the best time.
