Fast Times at Cherry Creek High…

Lot’s of Personal Best’s set tonight. Conditions were iffy while we were warming up, but calmed down considerably by start time. That was about as calm as I’ve seen it out there. So, I set my fastest time yet (25:47, previous best 27:11) – but I still got passed by 4 guys who were busy setting their fastest times. Oh, well!!

I was feeling decent, and with my new strategy of starting out a lot slower and pouring on the coal after the turn-around, I was pretty certain I could get into the 26’s. So it was a bonus to jump completely over 26 and get into the 25’s. I’d really like to dip into the 24’s before the series ends. My buddy Tim got a 25:10, so he’s all set to make the move. I gotta get some shoe covers like his!
