2012 Training Log – Week 46

Slowly coming back.  .4 miles two weeks ago, 20 last week, and just over 40 this week.  Still have a LONG way to go, but I’m happy to feel like things are going somewhere now.

Other highlights:

Took some shots at a half marathon in Highland’s Ranch.  That was fun.

Spent some time walking around the Fort Logan National Cemetery for Veteran’s Day.  I hadn’t ever been there even though it’s only about 20 minutes from where I live.  It was nice to walk around in the brisk air and reflect on the sacrifices of those that are buried there (96,000).

2012 Training Log – Week 45

Not exactly a ‘comeback’, but an improvement over the .4 miles I logged last week.  I did a little over 20 miles in three runs.  The rib is still holding me back, but I’m hoping to get into a more regular routine this week.

Other highlights:

Halloween was fun and I ate about 3x my weight in candy.

Spent most of Saturday afternoon hanging out at a cyclocross race taking photos.

My 4th grader thought it would be cool to go see the president, so we did!

2012 Training Log – Week 44

Some forced rest this week.  Looks like I brought home a little souvenier from my last race.  I was too lazy to go to the doctor, so I just drew my own X-ray.
