Nice weather today. With this being a rest week training-wise, it was a great time to take the family on a trip into the mountains for a little hiking. We went on a trail near Conifer and had a great time. We timed it just right, any later and it would have been a mud bog in some spots. As it was, we were able to negotiate everything pretty well with our stroller and had a good day getting out in the sunshine and fresh air together.

Everything (school, work, weather) finally lined up so my parents could come spend a few days with us. The kids were soooo excited. We had a great time doing lots of catching up and shopping at the malls. Who wouldn’t want to be welcomed like this?
